About

Countertops are the most noticeable and frequently used surface in any room. A wide variety of materials can be used depending on the look you want and durability that you need. Natural stone (quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone and many others) continues to be a popular, offering a huge selection of colors and patterns with exceptional durability. Eight different edge profiles (bevels) are available for any material.

Care & maintenance

  • Mild soap and water are all that is required to effectively clean and maintain the luster of most countertops.
  • Avoid using corrosive cleaners, including vinegar and bleach, on your countertops, as these can etch and dull the finish.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface of your countertops.
  • Note that honed (matte) finishes on natural stone countertops typically show more soil and fingerprints, and may need more frequent cleaning.
  • While quartz and solid surface countertops may be heat and scratch resistant, they are not heat or scratch proof, so always use trivets or hot pads when placing hot pans on the countertop, and never cut or chop directly on any countertops – always use a cutting board.
